Why use a VGA Cable?

A VGA cable is used solely to carry video signals from a PC, laptop or games console to a monitor or TV to enable the picture to be displayed. VGA cables can provide very good picture quality if you decide to spend above the average (when combined with good quality hardware of course).

Often a VGA cable is the only choice of connection between your computer and you monitor.
