Cable advice:
Make sure your new PC and the peripherals you wish to connect are USB-cable compliant. All of the products listed in the USB products guide have passed a set of tests defined by the creators of USB. Many peripherals are shipped with USB cables but always double check with the retailer before you purchase. It is now possible to extend the normal 5 Metre range of a USB cable with a USB cable extension lead. USB extension leads are up to 5 Meters in length and up to 3 may be coupled together giving a total length of 20 Meters (inc. the original cable).
