The AN Super 8 ancient a modified 5.6 cu.ft. originally calculated by David Dicks of commonsensaudio (distributor of AN). I single modify the width of the cabinet for AN Super 8. In my opinion, the AN let loose its right performance with this cabinet design, huge bass reflex cabinet with 6 inches hole port (with no tube for natural sound). The insulation of the cabinet was a simple egg tray cartons. The speaker cable ancient was a triple solid wire of gauge 18 pull wire – braided and inserted in a colorful water hose. I ancient marine plywood, mahogany wood stain and polyurethane varnish for the coating. The sound is better in real listening conference, of course. Though, you can have approximately thought that this speaker really sounds excellent than you can never imagine. “Never judge a speaker on its outside appearance, but judge it on how it sings in real.” The sound of AN is right to original cd recording, even if the room I ancient is not treated.
