Cable advice:
With speaker cable as a rule of thumb it is recommended that you spend around 10% of your HIFI equipment or surround sound costs on the actual speaker cable itself. The thickness of speaker is called the “gauge.” The lower the gauge, the thicker the wire. 10 gauge is quite thick, while 20 gauge is comparatively thin. Most people will be very happy with 14 gauge speaker cable which should provide decent all-round speaker performance.
