HDMI to Ethernet Adapters

Used to connect:
Two HD devices to one another. Devices such as a HDTV or HD-DVD player or HD games console (playstation or Xbox360).

Available lengths:

Not applicable as this is a converter unit only, however by putting HDMI over Ethernet it is possible to extend the range of the signal up to 200ft (60 metres).

Typical cost:
Prices are expensive at the moment in the range of £100 to £ 200 ($ 200 – $ 300).

Cable advice:
An expensive but good solution to extending the range of a HDMI signal using a Category 5 (Cat 5e or Cat6) ethernet network. Two adapters (converters) are required, one to transmit and one to receive.
