Sanus HDMI Cables Pivot 180 Degrees

7 Jan 2010

Sanus, the Flat Panel TV Stand Furniture & HDMI cable manufacturer, have recently launched three new HDMI cables with a unique 180 degree pivoting connector to provide users with greater flexibility when connecting to equipment with limited space,

As TV’s get flatter, the wall mount dimensions are also changed and it becomes much harder to access the HDMI port and even harder to try and plug the cable into the port without it fouling the wall with the worst consequences being a damaged cable or HDMI port.

Sanus Systems are tackling this problem head on with three new HDMI cable offerings designed to solve the tight space issue. The Sanus Elements product line will be the ELM402-G1, priced at $29.99, the ELM405-G1 at $39.99 and finally the ELM410-G1 $49.99 all of which feature the unique HDMI connector head made from a flexible material that pivots the full180 degrees. Sanus state that the connector is less than an inch deep, and it’s gold plated to help keep the digital signal at its best.

The HDMI cables are to be shipped in 2.5 ft, 5ft and 10-ft lengths. In terms of specification Sanus have confirmed that the the cables will support 10, 12 and 16-bit RGB or YCbCr color, 1080p, loss-less audio with 120Hz refresh.
