IXOS Release XEN XHT668 high speed HDMI 1.4 cable
UK based, IXOS have released a “next generation” HDMI cable. The award winning manufacturer states that the new cable, labeled the High Definition 2160p Quad-HD XHT668 HDMI , is designed to work with all HDMI v1.4 components with the added enhancement that full Ethernet capabilities are supported.
The cable is said to be manufactured with “superior construction” techniques and is priced at £129.99 for a 1.5M length cable, with alternative lengths set to follow shortly.

* Ultra high conductive, Silver Plated Pure Crystal Oxygen-Free Copper (PC-OFC) conductors easily accommodate the significantly increased bandwidth required to transmit Quad-HD (2160p) and 3D digital Video.
* Proprietary Nitrogen Gas-Injected Polyethylene Dielectric: Significantly reduced the Dielectric Constant to maintain the precise impedance to transfer HDMI 1.4 Category 2 with Ethernet signals flawlessly.
* Patented 4-Layer PCB Board in the plug, increases and maintains the distance between solder points, thus stabilizing impedance and improving performance.
* 24K Gold Plated conductors prevent oxidization for longevity and durability.
