This ADC solution is a clone of the Panduit Patch Sprinter solution for the 9513 and 6509. All I can say is “copy cats”!!
@Minty9167 Im sure it would work but would demand quite a bid of drilling in view of the fact that the cages. Slide on a rail. Want to try it but I upgraded to a lian li and the riot is just gathering dust :p
Hi
i have seen this concluded on seperate video, can single assume they have lined up
hdd screw holes at front panel fan side and marked and drilled two new holes in cage
this would account for handbook meeting out of rear of handbook cage sorry if this does not aid.
@Minty9167 I’ve tried loads of traditions its not possible with the fans installed :p
Tip: back your hard drives in bays and route sata& power cables out to rear panel for better cable management and clean end.
If you notice. I in fact still have an extension on… so either way extensions aid. But other than that you still would have a large cable going along the top of your motherboard tray that would be visible so drilling the hole is beneficial.
I commend you on your efforts. Just a note on the 8 pin cable routing, why not buy an 8 pin extentsion? Then you could route the cable in the rear the MB?
Just my 2 cents….
@grpace you sir are right, its kinda weird though newegg did not have it listed as an evo but it definetly is, they have a $20 rebate with them now
I really like the riot and it seems as if u got the riot evo. I can;t pass the time to get my hands one of those they look awesome.
I just got this case in the mail now very roomy when compared to my current one I plot on posting a vid when i get it done. I will note that I likely have a newer rev. of this case, there is an notch in the back that you could straightforwardly route the 8 pin, so it appears as though that have addressed that issue
you should have seen my cable management when I was building my computer….. horrible! lol… I was in a rush, but yeah I am going to rebuild mine and place your tips to use
Thanks man (5 stars)
Thanks! For even more room u can dremel off the lip making it harder for cable management.
Wonderful work. I was slightly place off getting the Riot when I read a review that understood it was too shallow under the mobo tray to properly deal with the cables. Glad I saw this. Cheers
haha nope i like it too: )
Haha, it can be tough at at the start but after the at the start time you get alot better at it.
If I were not to say basic I would erect it from the ground up for you lol
That hole on the top is a very excellent thought. I was just thought in this vicinity dependability it for myself. And i find it droll when you say “a basic cable management tutorial” BASIC?
Its not that terrible. I find it fun… is that weird? lol
I dont mind dependability all this work, but imagine if you have to change your psu…
Frost cathode box.
whats that blue box on the power supply?
Yeah, for sure. The PSU hole would be fantastic and the retetion plate hole would be damn convenient.
What you can do if it bugs you is a take a jigsaw/dremel or what ever and cut off that lip. Would make cable management alot simpler.
The nzxt riot 2…
One more handbook bay for 3 fans plus optical…
Black interior
More room for cable management
Better cable management holes
Aluminum not steel
Hole for retention plate
Dust filter on side intake
and a hole for psu to be mounted with fan
facing not working as well as a fan for intake from the underneath.
That would make life a lot simpler…
Yeah, the metal lip at the underneath of the motherboard tray makes it hard to thread cables under it. I reckon NZXT could have made it simpler for us.
Be grateful you. If you dont mind a projection i should be alright. On mine I try to care for it one cable deep but most times it just isnt possible. I feel the pressure on the side tho.
This is a exact handbook. I’ve been having a few issues getting the side panel back on and there is a bit of a projection in the case, but I should be able to sort that out.
Alright thanks, and I didn’t get your message?
IDK where to look
